Open Technology Group (OTG) is a professional services corporation and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland.  Since 1992, we have been providing organizations with expertise from highly skilled personnel for information technology, business and other support services and/or solutions.

 

We have a rich and successful history of providing secure, dependable resources to meet our customers’ diverse needs.  OTG has successfully worked with organizations that range from federal government agencies such as the Department of Treasury, National Institutes of Health, Department of State and Department of Veterans Affairs to major corporations such as SAIC, Unisys, Microsoft and Lockheed Martin.  We have also successfully worked with smaller corporations.  Our corporate management team has years of experience in business, project management, contract management, and current information technology.

 

OTG has a strong commitment to exceeding customer expectations.  For this reason we continually review and update our processes with the latest technologies and methodologies.  We use a combination of Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 2 – Project Management methodologies to ensure delivery of high quality services to our customers.  We also use the OTG Knowledge Management Tool based on Microsoft SharePoint to increase team collaboration while supporting of our customers.

 

We use information technology to successfully support OTG customers and employees via our corporate headquarters that features a Microsoft based infrastructure with:

  • Collaboration Applications: Customer Management System, Federal Opportunities, and Purchase Order System.
  • Web Applications: Web based email service, Intranet Portal – OTG Central, Extranet Portal - Knowledge Management Tool.
  • Communication Services: Employee VPN Service, Employee Dial-Up Service.
  • Helpdesk and Remote Administration: Enables remote assistance and support for our desktops and servers from different locations using technology based on Remote Assistance Service and our Virtual Private Network service.
